Laurie Climan Artist Biography 

 

 Laurie Climan is a well established graphic and web designer.  Her company, Amaze Ink Print & Web Design creates websites as well as logos, business cards, brochures and more for companies in Calgary.  It has also done several art websites, including the Calgary School of Art.

 Laurie is also an amateur artist, having painted in watercolour for over 12 years, and then taking on the challenge of oil painting for the last two years.

 This unique perspective enables her to combine the technology of the computer, with the art of painting. This helps to enhance her paintings by manipulating her reference material to simulate the various manual steps often taken when composing a painting.
