Gerry Mulhall Artist Biography

Gerry was born in Ireland and moved to Canada in 2001 with his family. From an early age he had an interest in art with an exceptional aptitude for drawing and painting. He enrolled in various courses and took fine art classes for many years. His interest in art became involved in the graphics arts, printing and reproduction industry.

As a mature student Gerry attended the National College of Art and Design in Dublin Ireland and graduated in 1997 with a B.A degree in Art and Design in Education. He worked for a short time in the Irish education system before coming to Canada. Gerry now runs his own successful commercial and residential painting business, which allows him the flexibility to be engaged part-time as a fine art painter. He also instructs adult students at the newly founded Calgary School of Art located at the Cactus Art Supplies.

He is a member of the Leighton Art Center and has exhibited in their members juried show. He has sold his work to private collectors across both Canada and Europe.
