Kelly Covert Artist Biography

Kelly Covert is a qualified artist/instructor who recently graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design’s Painting department. At the age of only 22 her art has already been displayed within the Marion Nicoll Gallery. She has always had a passion for art and has an extensive knowledge of both art and art history. Kelly started out as a child with simple sketches and is now replicating master paintings from the Renaissance. She attributes some of her skill to the fact that she took private classes as a child, these classes provided Kelly with foundation to become the artist she is today. As a children’s art instructor she firmly believes in encouraging each and every child’s artistic talents.  With her friendly, patient and personable approach to teaching, every student will soon find that having fun and learning about art go naturally hand in hand.

With a competent knowledge of both technique and composition Kelly rises above the basic art instructor qualifications. Whether your child is skilled at art already or new to everything involved with art, Kelly will have them painting and sketching better than ever before. Every student is invited to bring any image they are interested in working on to class and no student will be left out as Kelly caters to the individual talents of every student. Kelly has all the skills needed to make your child a better artist today.
