Come to class each week to enjoy learning the skills of painting in a non-threatening and fun atmosphere. This class is suitable for beginners (with some painting experience) to intermediate acrylic or oil painters. Learn to see as an artist and interpret the world around you; to capture the essence of your subject using expressive brushwork embracing the saying "less is more".

The beginning of each lesson will feature instruction, as well as demos or exercises. Subjects covered will include colour theory, colour mixing, composition, use of edges, and using expressive brushstrokes.  The remainder of the class will be spent on your own project incorporating what you have learned. Over the 11 weeks your confidence and skills will grow.
